Director of Advocacy and Legislation

Unite NY is seeking a Director of Advocacy & Legislation to lead advocacy campaigns, build and manage coalitions, and direct the organization’s government relations work. The ideal candidate will have experience in legislative, government relations, campaign management, or political advocacy and be passionate about democracy reform.

Requirements

• 4-8 years of legislative, government relations, campaign management, or political advocacy experience
• Demonstrated success developing and executing legislative or policy strategies
• Experience cultivating and leading coalitions or multi-organization partnerships
• Excellent communication, writing, and public speaking skills
