Job Description
Urban Resource Institute (URI) is seeking a Senior Case Manager Supervisor to provide direct service provision to residents and supervise the Recreational Specialist or Residential Specialist. The role involves counseling, group counseling, advocacy services, referrals, and follow-up, as well as making linkages to community agencies for permanent housing and aftercare services.
Requirements
- Three years of crisis counseling experience in a residential shelter for homeless individuals and/or families
- Training and experience in assessing vocational and educational needs and aptitudes of clients
- Familiarity with DHS regulations and DHS Cares Reporting
- Ability to deliver client services, including communication and listening skills
- Computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
- Ability to be flexible with schedule as needed
