Patient Service Representative I

The Patient Service Representative I is responsible for providing customer service and ensuring the patient experience is exemplary. They will coordinate clerical tasks, register patients, and collect payments. They must ensure that all procedures are followed to create a seamless patient experience.

Requirements

• Welcomes and greets all patients and visitors
• Registers new patients and updates existing patient demographics
• Collects outstanding patient balances
• Obtains referrals and authorizations
• Scans incoming faxes and patient information
• Generates batch transmittal reports
• Schedules follow up services and office visits
• Responds to inquiries in a courteous manner
• Keeps medical office supplies stocked
• Protects patient confidentiality
• Ensures proper hand off of responsibilities
