Job Description
Alta Genetics USA is seeking a Maternity Technician to join their team. The role involves providing maternity support and labor service to assigned customers, including accurate processing of animals, team development, and integrating Alta Genetics' services into farm management. This position offers a chance to work with cattle and contribute to the overall farm management of customer herds.
Requirements
- Accurately follow on-farm procedures
- Provide for the safe, efficient and successful processing of Maternity animals
- Cooperate with farm management and other farm advisors
- Develop improved practices in animal feeding, housing, sanitation, or parasite and disease control
- Ensure protocols are followed for nutrition, reproduction, growth, and development of cattle
