Job Description
PEAK Genetics has an opportunity available to join our barn staff as a Livestock Specialist - Bull Handler in Shawano, WI. This role involves supporting the daily care, health, and collection of elite bulls, as well as maintenance of facilities and equipment.
Requirements
- Handle sires of varying ages and sizes in a calm, confident manner for optimum production
- Work in a system using established protocols
- Perform regular livestock care including feeding, cleaning, moving cattle, assisting with health testing and veterinary treatments, and other routine tasks
- Operate company farm equipment and vehicles
- Clean and maintain buildings, grounds, and equipment
