Job Description
GENEX Cooperative is seeking a Reproductive Program Senior Technician to provide professional Artificial Insemination service and breeding program assistance to dairy and beef cattle producers in Eau Claire and Chippewa Counties (WI), Wisconsin. The role involves selling GENEX products, providing reproductive management expertise, and developing new business. It focuses on a 99% dairy/1% beef emphasis.
Requirements
- Strong dairy background with experience working with dairy cows
- Degree in Agriculture or equivalent experience is preferred
- Experience in heat detection on large farms
- Aggressive sales and service person with self-motivation
- Strong communication and people skills
- Willingness to learn
- Computer skills are required
- Ability to work with herd management software is a plus
