Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist

US Fertility is a leading partnership of physician-led fertility practices, and they have an immediate opening for a Medical Assistant to join their team at Shady Grove Fertility in Washington, DC. The Medical Assistant will perform high volume of phlebotomy, maintain supplies, assist with clinical care, and provide patient counseling.

Requirements

• Strong phlebotomy skills required
• High School diploma; Associates degree preferred
• Completion of a formal MA program
• Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail, demonstrated ability to follow-through, and high degree of comfort with computer applications, accuracy and speed with data entry is required
• Minimum of one year of prior experience in healthcare and familiarity with medical terminology
