Job Description
We are seeking an experienced IP/MPLS Network Engineer to design, configure, provision, and support customer networks from build to deployment, with expertise in MPLS/VRFs and BGP in an ISP/Telecom provider environment.
Requirements
- CCNP/JNCP level or equivalent experience
- Experience with MPLS/VRFs and BGP in an ISP/Telecom provider environment
- Strong customer service ethic
- Flexible work pattern, including on-call
- Strong hands-on IP/MPLS Network Planning, Designing, and Operations experience
- Service provider environment experience, including Core, Edge, Border, Access, and Aggregation routing and switching with voice and data peering
- Attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of network protocols, OSI models, and network terminology
- Experience with Coriant (Tellabs), Aviat CTR, Cisco, and Juniper (JUNOS) equipment
- Ability to design and deploy VMware cloud environment, Linux OS, and TACACS+/AAA services
- Experience with NMS/OSS, DDoS monitoring and mitigation, Wireshark, PCAP applications, and SPLUNK
