Fire Alarm Project Technician 3

We are looking for a full-time Fire Alarm Project Technician 3 to join our team. As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will install, program, perform system start-up/check-out, testing/commissioning, customer training, and all associated documentation on assigned projects. You will work with a dynamic team that allows you to grow as Convergint grows.

Requirements

• Installs, programs, test, repairs, and services a variety of systems and equipment which may include security, fire alarm & life safety, and/or building automation with guidance as needed.
• Ability to understand architectural, mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics to ascertain scope and building features.
• Expert understanding of building, mechanical, sprinkler and fire codes.
• Acts as ‘our customer’s best service provider’ at all times thereby ensuring Convergint is the customer’s first choice for service.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
