Job Description
The Diesel Fleet Mechanic Technician II position at Sysco Louisville involves performing quality preventive maintenance inspections and repairs to ensure safe and cost-efficient vehicles. The job requires a strong understanding of vehicle systems and components, with a focus on electrical and hydraulic systems. Experience with diagnostic software, welding, and cutting is also necessary.
Requirements
- Perform required inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment
- Perform FAI/CVI inspections on all fleet vehicles
- Diagnose and repair vehicle malfunctions to manufacturer specifications
- Follow procedures and document work performed on work orders
- Learn and develop efficiency in Sysco computer programs
