Job Description
The Food Safety and Quality Assurance Technician will monitor FSQA programs and inspection/audit procedures to ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements at a Sysco Specialty Meat and/or Seafood Company. The role involves assisting in employee training, implementation of independent FSQA audit programs, and product evaluations.
Requirements
- Formal job training in TQM principles, SPC, HACCP concepts, CFIA/FDA regulations
- One to 3 years of meat and/or seafood industry experience at a federal CFIA/FDA meat and/or seafood processing plant
- Valid driver's license
