The Senior Director, Finance will act as the business partner to the Head of Engineering, working directly with them and their leadership team to meet expense and capital targets and support the delivery of business objectives.
Requirements
- Recognized accountancy qualification or equivalent with extensive experience in Finance roles
- Excellent communication and people skills; ability to converse with senior management openly and confidently and influence all areas of the business
- Ability to synthesize information and present results in a clear and concise manner to senior executives
- Knowledge of accounting principles and their application
- Experience thinking strategically and building business development plans
- Tenacious and driven by delivering results
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Interpersonal skills to guide and motivate global team members
- Proactive, very organized, ability to multitask, managing time and competing priorities in a dynamic environment, anticipating and servicing evolving needs
- Enjoys working in teams; shows ability to work effectively across all functions of the business
- Customer focused, proactive, and has a good understanding of Thomson Reuters strategy and business model
