Property Adjuster Specialist - Field

As a Property Adjuster Specialist, you will work with USAA to investigate, evaluate, and settle complex property insurance claims. You will work in a field-based role in the Northern New Jersey area and be responsible for managing assigned claims, negotiating settlements, and ensuring compliance with state regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Proactively manage assigned claims caseload
• Partner with vendors and internal business partners to facilitate complex claims resolution
• Investigate claim damages by conducting research from various sources
• Identify and resolve potential discrepancies and identifies subrogation potential
• Negotiate complex claims settlement within authority limits
• Maintain accurate, thorough, and current claim file documentation
• Support workload surges and catastrophe response operations as needed
