Job Description
USAA is seeking a Property Adjuster Specialist - Field to investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle complex property insurance claims. The role involves working with vendors and internal business partners, conducting research, and developing recommendations for complex claims settlement.
Requirements
- Proactively manages assigned claims caseload
- Partners with vendors and internal business partners
- Investigates claim damages by conducting research
- Determines coverage through analyzing information involving complex policy terms and contingencies
- Negotiates complex claims settlement within authority limits
- Maintains accurate, thorough, and current claim file documentation
- Supports workload surges and catastrophe response operations
- May be assigned CAT deployment travel with minimal notice
- Works independently solving complex problems with minimal guidance
