The Intercontinental Ballistic Missile SME provides authoritative expertise on intercontinental ballistic missile and space operations in direct support of USSTRATCOM's campaign and risk assessment mission.

Requirements

• Conduct graduate-level quality analysis and assessment of USSTRATCOM core mission areas
• Apply combined operational expertise in ICBM and space operations to develop and refine measurement criteria
• Perform at the senior operations assessment Subject Matter Expert level by actively participating in USSTRATCOM operations planning teams
• Develop, update, and maintain operations assessments and campaign-level risk assessments directly related to ICBM force employment
• Produce CCMD-quality commander's estimates and perform mission analysis in support of contingency and steady-state operations planning teams
• Maintain working knowledge of policy and strategy guidance including the National Security Strategy, National Defense Strategy, Nuclear Posture Review, National Military Strategy, Unified Command Plan, and relevant Global Campaign Plans and Operations Plans
