We are seeking a Hadoop Developer / SME to join our team in Baltimore, MD. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Hadoop ecosystem, ETL processes, and Big Data technologies. The position requires 10+ years of experience in IT and data warehouse environments, with a strong background in Java, Scala, and Python programming. The role involves leading multi-disciplinary projects, analyzing complex issues, and providing strategic recommendations.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in IT and data warehouse environments
- Expertise in Hadoop ecosystem, ETL processes, and Big Data technologies
- Strong background in Java, Scala, and Python programming
- Experience with cloud services and Micro services
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing technologies and frameworks
- DevOps mindset with a passion for delivering working code frequently in production
