Requirements

• Minimum 6+ years experience in Internet-related fields working in network and system administration, including hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, wireless controllers and access points.
• Demonstrated, strong working knowledge of TCP/IP fundamentals, IPv4/IPv6, MPLS, routing protocol operation, IP filtering, firewalls, VPNs and the associated tunneling technologies
• Demonstrated, strong working knowledge of EIGRP, BGP and OSPF routing protocols
• Advanced troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and team working skills
• Ability to utilize network protocol analyzers such as Wireshark
• Ability to configure, monitor and maintain Cisco networking devices in a campus LAN and global WAN environment
• Familiarity with Cisco VoIP Unity Connection & Communications Manager experience and related technologies
• Ability to de Configure, monitor and maintain Cisco switches, routers, and firewalls as well as other data communications related technology
• Works with external vendors and local IT support staff to troubleshoot and correct data communications issues and/or outages
• Complete regular reviews of log files and other applicable reporting tools related to network hardware to maintain network stability and security
• Develops and produces periodic reports to track the utilization and performance of the various data communication/networking technologies
• Assists with videoconferencing technology support and troubleshooting as required
• Participate in 24x7 rotating support, be available to support emergency situations that directly impact production at any time
