Job Description
Join UT Southwestern on our mission to educate, discover, and heal. The Pediatric Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will work in a large Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Children's Health, responsible for assessment, diagnosis, treatment, education, consultation, and care coordination for critically ill patients and their families.
Requirements
- Master's degree in nursing or Higher degree and Documentation of completion of accredited Advanced Practice Education Program and Graduate education and related Texas Board of Nursing authorization must be consistent with clinical practice area and patient population.
- National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and certified licensed by the Texas Physician Assistant Board (PA-C) upon hire.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certified by the American Heart Association or Red Cross, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics based on the UT Southwestern policy for Advanced Practice Providers upon hire.
