UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a Supervisor, MSRDP Front End Revenue Cycle Department. The successful candidate will supervise the daily operations for the team. Responsibilities include supervising staff, monitoring work queues, handling denials, performing informal audits, and maintaining attendance records. The position is work-from-home and requires a 5-year supervisory experience and 5 years of experience working in a clinical revenue cycle environment. Requirements
- Supervise approximately nine staff members.
- Serve as a resource for multiple departments for all Medicine departments in place of service UT Southwestern, CMC, Parkland & THR.
- Monitor the teams assigned staff’s work queue activity, ensuring the queues are brought in within the expected 30-day metric.
- Handle all denials trends/issues which have been elevated by their staff.
- Perform informal audits on new employees as well as a meeting with each of their employees weekly to discuss their collection efforts.
- Produce a production report which is sent to their staff daily.
- Responsible for identifying areas of deficiencies in their staff and ensuring the appropriate training is provided to bring the staff up to the required expectations.
- Maintains attendance records, mentors, coaches and prepares annual evaluation appraisals for each one of their staff members.
- Plays an important part in the team’s ability to meet metrics as well as assisting the various Revenue Location in meeting the financial goal of maintaining a collection rate of 95% or greater.
