Job description
The Field Technician will perform visual inspection of electrical distribution facilities and equipment, compile field data collection, and prepare maintenance reports. The role involves performing various field technical services, including system inventories and audits, joint use management, and permitting.
Perform field technical services, collect data using electronic devices, develop knowledge of electrical safety codes and utility construction standards, and operate equipment to take measurements and perform maintenance.
The successful candidate will have 2+ years of experience in electric utility or telecommunications, familiarity with National Electrical Safety Code, and knowledge of computers and software applications.
