Job Description
UVA Health Northern VA & Culpeper is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide clinical support, assist with administrative tasks, and uphold patient care standards in a fast-paced, changing healthcare environment. The role emphasizes accountability, professionalism, and a dedication to both patient well-being and the team's success. This is a non-exempt position supervised by a licensed practitioner.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) credentials or must be obtained within 6 months
- Ability to successfully complete general and department role based specific skills validation and competency testing.
- Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) credentials or must be obtained within 6 months of date of hire
