Job Description
UVA Health Northern VA & Culpeper is seeking a MedSurg Clinical Unit Coordinator to provide coordination of patient care, including shifts, personnel management, and quality improvement in the hospital. The role involves working with a high level of autonomy and serving as a liaison between patients, staff, and upper management. This position requires a proactive, responsible, and adaptable individual.
Requirements
- Completion of a nursing program
- Registered Nurse licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia
- Prior experience in acute care or specialized unit (preferred)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize quickly
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to administer medication using the five rights
- Ability to lift/push/pull 100 lbs.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in written form.
- Basic nursing skills (group work)
