Patient Services Coordinator

The Patient Services Coordinator schedules and registers patients for outpatient clinics, verifies patient eligibility, and obtains pre-authorizations and referrals. The role also requires strong customer service skills, knowledge of medical terminology, and proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year of clerical experience in a medical office setting
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
• Excellent customer service skills
• Background in insurance knowledge
