Job Description
We are seeking an EMS Education Specialist to help develop materials for various classes for EMS professionals seeking more training or certification. Assist in the coordination and development of training materials for AHA courses and curriculum development of courses. Be part of something remarkable at UW Health.
Requirements
- Completion of a state-approved Paramedic education program
- Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare related field (preferred)
- 4 years of experience in delivery of emergency care or critical care
- Wisconsin state licensure as an EMT-Paramedic
- Current AHA Instructor in BLS, ACLS, PALS, or obtain within six months from date of hire
- Nationally Registered Paramedic
- 2 years of relevant teaching experience (preferred)
- 3 years of experience in pre-hospital emergency care (preferred)
- WI EMS Instructor II certification (preferred)
- Simulation Certification from the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (CHSOS, CHSE) (preferred)
