Research Scientist, Asst - Powell Wyoming Research & Extension Center

The University of Wyoming is seeking a Research Scientist Assistant for its Powell Research & Extension Center in Powell, Wyoming. This role involves supporting agricultural research projects across a wide range of disciplines including weed science, plant breeding, and plant pathology. Candidates will analyze research data, assist with lab and field work, and contribute to publications and presentations.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a related field (plant sciences, weed science, plant pathology, plant breeding, genetics, etc.)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Valid driver's license
• Current Wyoming Pesticide Applicator’s License (or ability to obtain one)
• Valid work authorization in the United States
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently
• Strong scientific principles and experimental design skills
