Job Description
The Avionics Lead Technician - DEA Program role involves servicing, inspecting, and repairing aircraft, as well as troubleshooting issues with electronic systems. The incumbent must have a strong understanding of aviation regulations and be able to work in a team environment.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Two-year technical trade school, military experience, or equivalent on-the-job training
- Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant certificate (preferred)
- Three (3) years of hands-on experience on small to medium fixed-wing and light & medium helicopters
- Demonstrated experience in maintenance support for various fixed-wing and rotor-wing aircraft
- Experience with flight deck avionics suites (e.g., Garmin G500, G1000 & Honeywell)
- Ability to work any assigned shift or schedule
- Ability to travel 25% of the time on an on-demand basis
