Perform inspections, testing, troubleshooting, repair, modification, and rewiring of complex avionics/electrical systems and subsystems. Assist in P&E report preparation, become aircraft turn-up certified, and perform daily duties associated with this specialty.
Requirements
- Possess in-depth knowledge of applicable maintenance/technical manuals and publications
- Familiar with operational capabilities and limitations of electrical/avionics systems
- Three years experience within the last eight years in their specific aircraft maintenance occupational field
- Must have successfully completed approved course or training as required by Company, State/Local Govt, DOD, regulation/Instruction
- Must have experience in corrosion detection, treatment and prevention
- Personnel shall be qualified according to their field of expertise and the level of maintenance assigned
