Job Description
The Program Manager directs all phases of the program from inception through completion, responsible for cost, schedule, and technical performance. Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, and contracts. Acts as primary customer contact for program activities. Oversees all aspects of aircraft maintenance, including daily flying schedule, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, Quality Assurance, and back shop support.
Requirements
- At least 20 years' aircraft maintenance leadership/managerial experience
- In-depth comprehension of large-scale aircraft maintenance organizations
- In-depth understanding of personnel management policies, practices, and procedures
- Ability to analyze comprehensive maintenance evaluation results and make significant operational course corrections
- Knowledge to evaluate and use a continuous process improvement program
- Experience in performing contractual, financial, and administrative work
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
