High School Science Teacher

Vacaville Christian Schools is seeking a passionate and qualified High School Science Teacher to deliver a Christ-centered, academically rigorous, and spiritually impactful education. The role focuses on integrating biblical principles into science instruction, fostering student growth, and collaborating with a team of dedicated teachers. This is a contract position, with annual renewable arrangements.

Requirements

• Develop and deliver engaging, rigorous, and Christ-centered science curriculum.
• Teach a variety of science courses based on expertise and departmental needs.
• Integrate biblical perspectives into science instruction and discussions.
• Utilize innovative teaching strategies and hands-on laboratory experiences.
• Assess student progress through meaningful assignments and exams.
• Collaborate with colleagues for excellent learning and growth of students.
• Actively live a Christian witness and incorporate biblical integration.
• Attend an annual Christian retreat with the students.
• Be present at school events and perform additional teacher duties.
