Medical Assistant - Clinical Float

Vail Health is seeking a Medical Assistant - Clinical Float to assist providers with patient care, maintain patient records, and complete administrative duties. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in patient care and administrative duties, and hold one of the required certifications or licenses.

Requirements

• Obtains, monitors, and records vital signs, patient history, and invasive procedures
• Fields patient phone calls promptly and in a professional manner
• Assists providers and other clinical staff with examinations, procedures, and other processes related to direct patient care
• Maintains patient documentation and communicates plan of care with provider
• Ensures cleanliness, adequate stock of supplies and functioning equipment in examination rooms
