DevSecOps Engineer II

Vail is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer II to join their growing team, focusing on strengthening security within Kubernetes and containerized environments. The role involves improving security, automating processes, and influencing secure system design. The position is critical for scaling secure systems that support billions of calls annually.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on, production-level experience with Kubernetes and containerization
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tooling (Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD)
• Basic scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash); experience with Go (Golang)
• Experience with vulnerability scanning and container security workflows (Sysdig, Trivy, or similar)
• Familiarity with CNAPP and SIEM platforms (Sysdig, Rapid7, or similar)
• Understanding of networking concepts
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (PCI DSS, HIPAA, SOC 2, NIST, ISO 27001)
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
