Laboratory Manager

The Laboratory Manager is responsible for the application of safety standards, planning, directing, and controlling the Quality Laboratory and Warranty analysis group. They ensure laboratory performances meet high standards and develop, validate, and maintain Quality Laboratory operating testing procedures.

Requirements

• Responsible for the application of safety standards
• Plan, direct, and control the Quality Laboratory and Warranty analysis group
• Ensure laboratory performs work to the highest standards and in accordance with QS9000/TS16949, ISO, 14001, and ISO 17025 standards
• Develop, validate, and maintain Quality Laboratory operating testing procedures
• Ensure adequate personnel are available to complete required test functions
• Conduct timely performance appraisals for Quality Lab employees
• Maintain files of open and completed test requests and reports
• Ensure proper operation, maintenance, and calibration of lab test equipment
• Maintain job descriptions and initiate training programs to improve performance of lab personnel
