Job Description
We are seeking a PLC Specialist to join our team at Valeo. As a PLC Specialist, you will be responsible for applying the IProM procedure, conducting functional analysis, and designing electrical and pneumatic plans of equipment. You will also be working on continuous improvement of equipment, reducing cycle time, and improving the HMACPI of your entity.
Requirements
- Know and apply the IProM procedure, including the Lean Process Design Methodology
- Conduct functional analysis
- Analyze the operating and stopping modes of equipment
- Apply standards in your area of expertise
- Design the electrical and pneumatic plans of equipment
- Support the ramp-up of new equipment
- Create specifications in your area of expertise
- Manage subcontractors
- Monitor equipment performance (QCDM)
- Perform continuous improvement of equipment
- Work on Cycle time reduction
- Support production & maintenance departments
- Transfer knowledge to production and maintenance people
- Participate in APU QRQC
- Work on obsolescence plans
- Work on breakdowns risks mitigation plan
- Be in contact with suppliers
- Perform benchmarking and market analysis
- Ensure the respect of Safety and Environment directives
