Job Description
The Supply Chain Scheduler is responsible for managing raw materials and components inventory levels, ensuring timely delivery to customers, and collaborating with suppliers to improve service levels. The role requires a proactive approach to identify and resolve blocking points, and to develop and implement logistics protocols with suppliers.
Requirements
- Follow up MPS achievement and propose preventive actions regarding material availability
- Define and lead actions connected with inventory reductions
- Measure and improve Supplier Service Rate – SSR – for each supplier
- Plan raw materials and components requirement based upon Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning and Master Production Schedule
- Communicate complete, precise & reliable information to Supplier contacts
- Identify blocking points and plan appropriate quick actions to solve them
- Support the implementation of supply chain organization improvements
