Job Description
We are seeking an Assistant Maintenance who will assist the maintenance supervisor, maintain the physical integrity of the property, and work with the leasing team to maximize renewal and leasing opportunities.
Requirements
- A minimum of two years of full-time experience in apartment maintenance or a trade that requires basic knowledge of electricity, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and HVAC
- High school diploma or equivalent. Technical Certification is a plus.
- EPA (refrigerant, transition, and recovery certification)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English to effectively interact with team members, residents, vendors, and other stakeholders
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Own a basic set of hand tools.
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record and auto insurance.
- Ability to perform work responsibilities at other locations and ability to travel within major metropolitan areas with possible overnight stays in other cities.
