Regulatory Reporting Analyst

Validus Risk Management is seeking an Analyst to join its Capital Markets Regulatory Reporting team to support the accurate, timely and controlled delivery of regulatory reporting obligations across multiple jurisdictions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Accounting, or a related discipline
• Up to 3 years of experience in financial services (regulatory reporting experience is advantageous but not required)
• Strong numerical and analytical ability
• High attention to detail and control awareness
• Proficiency in Excel (including data manipulation and basic formulas)
• Ability to analyse datasets and identify discrepancies
• High level of accuracy and organisational discipline
• Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to learn
• Curious and willing to learn regulatory frameworks in depth
• Clear communicator with the ability to escalate issues appropriately
• Positive, proactive attitude with strong ownership mindset
