Operational Excellence Engineer

We are seeking a highly qualified Operational Excellence Engineer to join our team at Vallourec. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating and deploying the DRIVE+ Management System, leading continuous improvement efforts, and providing expertise in lean manufacturing principles.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably mechanical, electrical, automation) or business related degree
• 5 years of experience in Continuous Improvement or Lean Manufacturing within an industrial setting
• Strong background in engineering or operations leadership with a solid understanding of process flow, waste identification, and lean manufacturing principles
• Demonstrated experience implementing Six Sigma or Toyota Production System (TPS) methodologies
• Prior roles with direct responsibilities on the shop floor at some point in career
• Experience in operations leadership or process engineering within the industrial sector
• Proven ability to facilitate and motivate continuous improvement initiatives across cross-functional teams
• Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects and communicate progress clearly and concisely
• Effective interpersonal skills with the drive to work closely with shop floor personnel
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
