Associate Design Drafter

We're seeking an Associate Design Drafter to join our Lighting and Transportation division in Farmington, MN. As an individual contributor, you'll process drafting requests for production and customer drawings following Valmont standards. Responsibilities include interpreting customer order information, preparing drawings and data for internal teams and manufacturing, and resolving order or manufacturing issues with guidance from the Engineering Manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma and 2+ years of drafting experience
• Technical skills in CAD and basic math (Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, AutoDesk Inventor, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and PC applications
• Ability to read and interpret customer specifications, resolve information gaps with Engineering support, and produce accurate, high-quality work under deadlines
