Quality Assurance Inspector

Valmont is seeking a highly motivated Quality Assurance Inspector to inspect purchased parts, raw materials, and manufactured items to ensure quality standards and customer requirements are met. The ideal candidate will have basic computer skills, knowledge of lab procedures, and the ability to work independently.

Requirements

• Ability to use and read tape measures, calculator, calipers, and micrometers
• Ability to read and interpret part drawings
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
• Ability to complete documentation of inspections and daily reports
• Ability to learn and understand the quality lab procedures
• Work with and around chemicals/solvents and work in hot and cold environments
• Ability to interpret and follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to work independently
• Must have to ability to stand for extended periods of time, use hand and arms to reach, push, pull, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 25 lbs. without assistance
• Knowledge of lab procedures
• Basic computer skills
