Quality Engineer

We're seeking a Quality Engineer to develop, manage, and support quality engineering efforts within our Quality Assurance and Quality Control organizations. The successful candidate will work with multiple departments to drive continuous improvements and establish quality metrics.

Requirements

• Develop, manage, and support quality engineering efforts within Quality Assurance and Quality Control organizations
• Work with multiple departments to drive continuous improvements and establish quality metrics
• Interface with customers as needed to eliminate any nonconformance
• Lead quality teams through process improvement events
• Develop, communicate, and implement best practices as they pertain to quality
• Interpret Valmont quality requirements, including quality management system (QMS) documents, specifications, engineering prints and specifications, and external standards
• Identify and eliminate and/or mitigate risks as they pertain to achieving codes, engineering specifications, and customer specifications
