Job Description
Valsef Capital is seeking an Accountant to join one of its Montreal-based subsidiaries. The accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, supporting month-end and year-end close processes, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal controls.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting
- CPA designation preferred or in progress
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Advanced Excel proficiency
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Knowledge of ASPE
- Knowledge of NFPO standards
