Senior Security Operations Engineer

Valon is seeking an experienced Senior Security Operations Engineer to join its growing team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of security technologies, threat detection and response, risk assessment, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. The role requires managing and optimizing security tools, designing and implementing AI-enabled workflows, and ensuring security is embedded across the environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a security analyst, engineer or related role
• In-depth knowledge and implementation of security technologies
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, system administration, infrastructure security or related domains
• Experience with cloud security and environments (GCP, AWS)
• Demonstrated experience leveraging AI and automation to improve the efficiency and scalability of enterprise security operations and threat management
