Requirements
- Diagnose and treat veterans under the direction of a supervising physician.
- Examine and assess patient symptoms.
- Develop and implement patient management plans.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Counsel patients on medication use and mental health issues.
- Evaluate patients' medical records.
- Complete documentation within 24 hours of each patient encounter.
- Adhere to VA guidelines and VA formulary process.
- Maintain compliance with OIG, JC, and VA training requirements.
