Job Description
Valor Healthcare is seeking compassionate, mission-driven therapists to serve veterans and military members. The position offers a remote, 1099 contract role with flexible scheduling and the opportunity to provide evidence-based care in a supportive community. Therapists will be responsible for providing individual and group therapy, conducting psychosocial assessments, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Must be licensed to practice independently in ANY state
- Must have PsyPact in addition to state license
- Must have a master’s degree in social work, counseling, or related field or a doctoral degree in psychology
- Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience practicing therapy independently
- Familiarity with mental health diagnosis and treatment
- Good knowledge of DSM5 clinical presentations
- Experience with mental health assessments and treatment
- Experience in Veterans’ settings
- Experience with electronic health records
- Ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of risk assessment and mental health crises procedures
