School Safety Officer (Gwinnett County Public Schools)

We are seeking School Safety Officers to support a safe and structured learning environment within Gwinnett County Public Schools for the 2026-2027 School Year.

Requirements

• Previous security, law enforcement, or school safety experience
• Strong communication skills
• Professional, calm, and authoritative presence
• Ability to remain alert and proactive
• Strong judgment and conflict resolution skills
• Must pass a comprehensive background screening
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
• Must possess a valid Georgia 24-Hour Unarmed Security Officer Certification
