M365 Lead Information Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly capable Lead Information Systems Engineer to support a major Microsoft 365 initiative within the IRS, providing technical leadership and ensuring all solutions align with IRS policies and mission objectives.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading technical teams or engineering workstreams in an enterprise environment
• Strong background in Microsoft 365 services, including collaboration, workflow automation, and cloud-based productivity tools
• Experience overseeing solution design, configuration, or implementation across M365 platforms
• Familiarity with governance, compliance, change management, and systems documentation
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and actionable engineering tasks
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience supporting federal government agencies (preferred)
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Azure) are a plus
