Postdoctoral Fellow – Translational Cancer Immunology

Van Andel Institute is seeking two Postdoctoral Fellows to support cutting-edge research efforts in translational cancer immunology. The successful candidates will have a strong background in biomedical engineering or computational and bioinformatics, with a focus on focused ultrasound tumor treatment platforms and advanced sequencing technologies. They will work closely with Dr. Clifford Cho and Dr. Anutosh Ganguly to design and direct experiments measuring the impact of histotripsy on immunogenic cell death, hypoxia responses, tumor remodeling, anti-tumor immune responses, and therapeutic efficacy of combinatorial cancer treatment strategies.

Requirements

• Ph.D. degree in biomedical engineering, cancer biology or a related field
• Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and lab management acumen
• Experience with mammalian tissue culture and/or animal work
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience with manuscript writing and figure design
