Safety Specialist

The Van Drunen Family of Companies is seeking a Safety Specialist to plan, organize, and manage daily plant-level safety programs to ensure a safe and compliant work environment. The successful candidate will have experience in a safety role, preferably in a manufacturing environment, and a strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices.

Requirements

• Three or more years of experience in a safety role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in a Safety related field.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices.
• Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort using technical safety equipment and experience in PSM, LOTO, or ammonia systems preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish a significant plus
