Director, Enterprise Strategy

Director, Enterprise Strategy role at Vancity, a member-owned credit union built on principles of inclusion and social justice. Lead the development of enterprise strategy and business plan, and monitor progress against the plan. Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, with a hybrid work arrangement and expected on-site presence for events and business demands.

Requirements

• Formal education with a focus on business, a graduate degree is preferred or equivalent progressive and relevant experience
• Several years of progressively senior-level leadership experience in a complex organization, experience in financial services is considered an asset
• Proven ability in strategic planning and execution, with a strong strategic and business mindset
• Experience leading and building a team of increasingly capable direct reports, ensuring quality leadership is practiced by direct report managers
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate cross-functionally across all levels of the organization
• Demonstrated experience utilizing monitoring tools, dashboards, and analytics
