Integration Engineer - Operations

As an Integration Engineer – Production Support, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the reliability, performance, and availability of backend systems that integrate enterprise platforms, APIs, and third-party services. You'll troubleshoot and resolve system issues, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and automate routine tasks. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Vancouver, BC, Canada.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience developing backend systems and APIs
• Solid proficiency in backend programming languages such as Java,.NET, Python, or Node.js
• Demonstrated experience implementing and maintaining RESTful or GraphQL APIs
• Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL), caching strategies, and message queue technologies
• Practical experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS
• Proven ability to support production systems, troubleshoot integration challenges, and leverage monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus) to optimize system performance
• Strong collaborative skills, with a willingness to contribute to design discussions and learn from senior engineers in a team-oriented environment
